Chord templates provide a convenient way to store frequently used chords and quickly reuse them throughout a score.
To add the currently selected chord to the templates, tap the Add to Templates button in the Chords panel.

Each template stores both the chord symbol and its corresponding diagram. Every instrument has its own collection of chord templates, making it easy to reuse the chords most commonly used for that instrument. By default, chord templates are displayed on the first page above the score. They can be hidden entirely or individually without removing them from the collection.
All templates for the current instrument are displayed in the Chords panel. Tap a template to add it at the selected score position. If a chord already exists there, it is replaced with the selected template.

For advanced template management, tap the Chord Templates button at the bottom of the Chords panel. The template editor allows you to organize templates and configure their behavior.

By default, inserting a chord from a template also adds its associated notes to the score. To insert only the chord symbol and diagram, disable the Create chord with notes option in the Chord Templates editor.

To remove the current chord from the templates, toggle the same button in the Chords panel that was used to add it.
