Chord information can be hidden without being removed from the score.
When a chord is presented at the selected score position, the Chords panel provides an option to hide it.
The chord symbol and chord diagram are no longer displayed in the score, while the chord itself remains associated with the current position.
This is useful when the chord should remain part of the score's harmonic structure but does not need to be displayed. Since the chord information is preserved, it can still be selected, edited, or shown again at any time.
