Anacrusis

Anacrusis is a partial bar preceding the strong beat (downbeat) of the first complete bar. It is also called a pickup bar or an upbeat. Anacrusis can contain multiple rhythmic events and does not require them to fulfill the bar.

To make the app to handle the first bar of a composition as an anacrusis (e.g., during the playback):

1. Tap (or and then in the compact mode) to open Settings.
2. Turn on Upbeat (pickup, anacrusis) option.
3. Tap Done.
