Anacrusis is a partial bar preceding the strong beat (downbeat) of the first complete bar. It is also called a pickup bar or an upbeat. Anacrusis can contain multiple rhythmic events and does not require them to fulfill the bar.
To make the app to handle the first bar of a composition as an anacrusis (e.g., during the playback):
- From the Score menu, select Anacrusis.
