Create bars

Previously, we completed the first bar of the sonata. Now we need a new bar to continue entering notes.

1. Press Right Arrow .

   

   As the application recognizes the selected notes as the final in the bar, pressing the Right Arrow key results in the creation of a new bar, not a new position for notes in the first bar.

2. Add quarter notes B3 and D4, and then quarter notes B3 and G4.

   

3. If you want to create a new bar before the other one, press Option‑Command‑Left Arrow    .

   

4. To delete the current bar, press Option‑Command‑Delete    .

   

5. Go to the next position in the score by pressing Command‑Right Arrow   .
